Congratulations on an impressive milestone. 10 years serving the community and doing extraordinary things to improve the chain of survival in Killarney and the surrounding areas.

On Monday Evening we welcomed CFR groups from across the city & county into our station organised by Jonathan Lynch @Community_NAS. Volunteer’s rotated through different stations, gaining hands-on experience in patient assessment, advanced airways, cardiac arrest scenarios 1/2

At the end of last month there were 326 active CFR groups that responded to 1106 calls - that's more than 35 responses every single day in March! If you're interested in helping your community and learning life-saving skills; go to becomeacfr.ie & find your local group

The National Ambulance Service is delighted to support the CFR groups and all their work as First Responders providing assistance to their fellow islanders when they need it.

Well done to the @Community_NAS team, who oversee the establishment and development of CFR schemes all over Ireland and our islands. CFRs make a real difference to their communities, and no where is this more visible than on the islands.

Last week, NAS attended a Road Safety event and demo in Fermoy, Cork. Pictured here with the group are RTC survivor Mark, and Leo, father of an RTC victim. Thanks to Paramedics Cian and Mark, and Community Engagement Officer Stephen who attended the event.

delighted to work with HSE Primary Care Nursing Teams from across the Island Communities in the North and West regions to deliver an Emergency First Responder course. Island Nurses work closely with the Ambulance Service in responding to emergency calls on the Islands.
