I understand the impulse to have a strong visceral reaction to this—but in reality this was a good statement. America first, Christ first, a commitment to the marketplace of ideas— this should be our focus. We all wish Tucker pushed back on Fuentes more. The critique that Tucker was far more hostile to Ted Cruz than he was to a self-proclaimed Stalin lover is extremely fair. It doesn’t mean interviewing Fuentes was wrong. And cutting ties with someone for pushing the boundaries of acceptable debate is not a habit we should normalize

I worked at The Heritage Foundation for almost a decade. I am so horrified by these leaks to the media I almost don’t even have the words.
The idea that I could ask a question, particularly one regarding my faith, at an all staff meeting and someone would leak it to the media to score points during a contentious political slug fest— is so outrageously horrendous. Whoever did this should be deeply, deeply ashamed

The Editorial Manager of the Heritage Foundation, Evan Myers, expressed concern that the “demand” for interns and junior staff to attend Shabbat dinners would violate his Christian faith.
“For many Christians, Friday is a special day of prayer and abstinence to commemorate the death of Christ,” Myers said. “I assume that no staff will be required to attend the Shabbat dinners, but my concern is that these dinners will serve as a sort of informal litmus test.”

Wikipedia is hopelessly biased. An army of left-wing activists maintain the bios and fight reasonable corrections. Magnifying the problem, Wikipedia often appears first in Google search results, and now it’s a trusted source for AI model training. This is a huge problem.
