Angry Women Destroy Military Checkpoint in Gashish, Plateau State. On Monday, 20 April 2026, angry women from Gashish community in Barkin Ladi LGA, Plateau State, destroyed a military checkpoint during a mass protest. Residents, including youths and elders, demanded the soldiers’ immediate removal, accusing them of failing to provide security.
