$23.5 million is what the Ready To Learn grant was budgeted for in 2025. it provided funding to PBS Kids for their educational programming. it was deemed unnecessary, and was cut. a waste of taxpayer dollars, they said.
but now they need $400 million in federal funding for a ballroom that we were told was already privately paid for. and $200 million was the original figure. now taxpayers are being asked to pay for it.
this administration is a giant joke, and anyone still supporting them should be banished from society
