100% right about Superman. and humanity shouldn't trust him. They have no good reason to trust him because he is nice to them when presented with this message that he has apparently been trying to hide from them. Lex is 100% right to be concerned and scared of Superman.

I find it funny how Spider-Man gets this despite the differences being relatively minor but no one talks about Magneto and I see plenty assume he's always worn the same outfit when these pretty clearly look different (just look at the gloves, boots, and helmet pattern).
