@H1BeesNuts Good news, he is still anti-censorship and clarified as such in a recent post. He does say he won't engage with the explicit aspects *himself* as much due to his beliefs, which is perfectly fair. A good example of you can be a Christian and still respect other's autonomy.

Since apparently this has to be said, my stance on censorship has not changed. No, liking loli does not make you a pedophile. No, that and other taboo fictional content should not be censored. No, you should not be harassed over fictional content even if its “weird” or “degenerate”. Yes, you should be allowed to make your own choices with the fictional content you consume. I have been very open about coming back to Christ about a year ago and I don’t want to be engaging in these subjects, specifically in covering the more explicit aspects of it, in the same manner as I used to. This is what I am comfortable with. I hope people can respect that boundary. However, it does not mean my stances have changed in a general sense. People have the right to choose what fictional content they consume personally and shouldn’t be harassed for it or certain artwork subject to censorship because of its nature. I have said nothing to the contrary. Things could have been worded more clearly from Strawb, this entire conversation seemed to stress her out a lot and she admitted to not handling it the best way, but comparing me or her to “antis” without even waiting for an explanation is jumping the gun. We have been defending people censored and harassed over these topics for years at the cost of harassment, threats, and slander directed towards us but we still don’t regret doing it. My core audience knows how I feel about all of this but I hope this clarifies some things. Thanks.

If you actually go and attack someone, it has transitioned from "speech" to "action" and then I have the right to stop you.

@Japanesechetnik @Keniisu I care about citizens having the right to speak freely and not be put behind bars for making content that makes people feel "uncomfortable", regardless of where it is. The UK is just one of the worst offenders, but it's certainly being pushed by politicians in the US too.

Ironically, boomers themselves are among those most affected by the slop in question.

@richardtheceo @AAStack Many of these people have worked hard on getting degrees, have multiple certifications, and even one or two portfolio pieces to prove their ability and even with *all of that* still get declined by *entry* level jobs. I don't know what you expect out of people at this point.

It is their own fault. People love to whine about the system. They picked low-leverage paths, stayed replaceable, and accepted bad trades for years. You get 60-hour weeks and poverty by having no scarce skill, no pricing power, and no willingness to walk. “Giving everything” is meaningless if what you’re giving is common. Stop whining about fairness and become hard to replace or accept being cheap.

“Nobody wants to work anymore.” Wrong. People just do not want to: - Work 60 hours and still be broke - Miss their kids growing up - Get raises smaller than inflation - Save in a currency printed out of thin air - Answer emails on weekends - Get replaced the second margins get tight - Spend half their paycheck on rent - Need debt just to survive - Watch groceries, insurance, and housing go up faster than their income People do not hate work. They hate giving everything and getting nowhere.

@AAStack Don't forget that higher paying jobs also are harder to get into than they were decades ago. It used to be good enough to have a college degree to get a sustainable job. Now even with that, multiple certs, and a portfolio, it's still not good enough for many "entry" level jobs.
