Been working on this inside Merit Systems for a while. Shipping Craig Cloud. Craig lives here: github.com/Merit-Systems/… The repo is basically his brain — memory, behavior, instructions — all versioned and evolving over time. He has write access across the org. Opens PRs, updates code, participates in real workflows. No sandbox. This is inside actual repos. What we’re exploring is pretty simple: agents that don’t just exist somewhere in UI, but actually operate inside the environments where work happens. Craig is already doing that through PR flow.
