@EricSirion the prevailing consensus is to not interfere with the spending conditions of other people's coins. this is a big part of what gives bitcoin value as electronic cash. some short term price volatility is worth it to preserve this foundational property of bitcoin.

The problem with L1 largeblocks, was: they increased the cost of running a full node.
But, ultimately, it turns out that a Lightning node is the most expensive node of them all.

@abrkn @sideshiftai I noticed this trend in many companies I work with. Even payment processors that support multiple blockchains, can easily run Solana (although $$$) but have hard time managing an LN node, not only from a technical point of view, but especially economical one.
