We don’t retain possession because we lack the finesse of touch needed to play high tempo football, where fractions of a second are the difference. Flexibility, suppleness, mobility, pace, grace on the ball, and general athleticism are all of a lesser standard than the very top teams. Effort can’t be faulted but we need a culture change to address the other issues and we’ve known that for years and not really made a dent on the issues.

@tundeabdul896 He would dawdle with the ball on the wing, go nowhere with it. Pass it back then go back to his most effective role of sniffing for opportunities inside the box. If not on the score sheet was generally poor when it came to overall play. I watched the games.

Elite in that role but his influence over games greatly diminished. I called Ronaldo a poacher 4 years before people started noticing it in 2018

ITV Sport will win an award for what they’ve got Emma Hayes to do in hydration breaks -and rightly so.
As a commercial TV firm, they could have done what Fox did & play ads.

If he had scored, they wouldn't have retaken the penalty. Cause it won't matter the keeper came of his line. This rule isn't fair to the keepers.
