Today we celebrate #IndigenousPeoplesDay, and recognize the resilience and legacy amongst Indigenous cultures. Borders is a graphic novel that is a great book for showing the importance of standing up for beliefs and showcasing the strength of modern-day Indigenous people.

LGBTQ+ History Month is a month-long celebration of the history of the diverse and beautiful #lesbian, #gay, #bisexual, #transgender, and #queer community and the importance of civil rights movements in progressing #gayrights. #lgbtqhistorymonth

#CelebrateTheBilingualChildMonth exists in order to recognize the special contributions of #bilingual children. Celebrating the joys of childhood bilingualism is a wonderful way to instill pride in bilingual children and involve bilingual families in classroom activities.
