Earlier this week we welcomed our new C6 Cyber Security CDT cohort to their @BristolUni teaching room - appreciating the symmetry of their laptops & equipment that were ready & waiting for them. They then spent yesterday getting to know @UniofBath, rounding out Welcome Week!

Wonderful to see @PriyankaBadva presenting their first paper “Unveiling Hunters-Gatherers: Exploring Threat Hunting Practices and Challenges in Cyber Defence” at USENIX 2024, and a thank you to one of their supervisors @marvinkopo for the photo!

Sunny skies in Bristol today are taking us back to our annual collaborative inter-disciplinary Summer School...taking place over 2 days, 3, CDTs 77 attendees, 20 student lightning talks, 4 external speakers + a panel of 5, and a full range of research interests - what a day!

A week ago we hosted the joint summer school for cyber security CDTs where our students were joined by those from @RoyalHolloway & @ucl for two days of talks, discussions & activities. Thank you to our speakers, students, & staff for their help in making the event a real success

This week we've had testbed scanning taking place in our labs - thanks to our C5 CDT students who took part!
