Just want to say WOW! So many of y'all submitted and it's amazing!! I did want to update that I haven't gotten to everyone yet due to work responsibilities, but just know that if you submitted, I did receive your submission and I will be combing through it soon!

@CyrusRodas I transfer all the info from google forms to a google sheet database where I can filter for voice types etc. that a specific spec needs!

Question for my Casting Director pals: what do you use to create a database of talent? I've been finding myself frequently in the position of recommending actors that I want to give a little back to the community and recommend folks I know for projects.

In my personal opinion, I don't like seeing 'standard'. I love hearing and seeing things I've never been exposed to before, and it's something the world and industry should start getting used to. I don't want to see manufactured perfection. I want to see the art in your humanity.

Don't listen to that voice called "imposter syndrome". You are NOT an imposter of yourself. You are you, unique and nuanced, and if you have the drive to let the world hear your voice, then get out there and let yourself be heard.
