Communism is an ideology used to gain power just like islamism, and if you look at the elite billionaire lifestyle of the communist leaders from Lenin and Stalin to Castro, CCP leaders and Kim, they don't really believe in any of the crap they preach as much as the technocrats they hire are often non-communist opportunists.
