I don’t go here but it just feels kinda biphobic to say that these two characters don’t deserve to be represented for pride month just because their not a same sex couple, because at the of the day their still bisexual

@niggaayaoi they did start this year off with meljay though? the were featured before any queer couples, and a queer woman and a queer man being in a relationship does not make them a queer couple.

@DONNASTROlA Respectfully why does the fact their m/f matter when the point of the art is to emphasize their sexuality as being bisexual, pride month is about highlighting all kinds of queer relationships and again they didn’t start it off with Meljay. There were other queer characters shown

a bi man and a bi woman can be two queer individuals, but a bi man and a bi woman together is still a heterosexual relationship.

@DONNASTROlA I understand the nuance and where your coming from but the biphobia for me stems not from people questioning why a m/f couple is here but rather trying to say they shouldn’t be there period because bisexuality doesn’t count if you date the opposite sex

@niggaayaoi i'm aware of the randomization, and i just think the tone that they set by starting a pride event with an m/f couple could have been considered more, and they could've then shuffled this around to later in the month or even the week

@niggaayaoi neither of them are bisexual. there are canonically bisexual characters that could've been celebrated first. starting off pride celebrating a bi headcanon for a canonically straight couple before any of this franchise's actual queer couples is weird.

@DONNASTROlA Pride is about celebrating all sexualities so I’m sorry but I don’t see the issue in someone highlighting bisexual characters for pride month, especially when these two (atleast to my knowledge) are a canon couple to the franchise so it makes sense they’d be put here

@toadnth no one is saying they arent unfounded, but they arent universal and certainly not applicable in this instance, which is the source of frustration. you cant continue making false claims about someones work and character after theyve been debunked and be surprised people are upset

@toadnth that's the thing, he didn't even emotionally cheat in the fic. jayce was in no way romantically or sexually attracted to viktor at any point while he was with mel. there was no cheating. i also don't support death threats or lies from anyone at any time regardless of circumstance

This all goes to show that Meltwt does NOT call their own out like they say. Princess lied multiple times (and still is doubling down) instead of admitting she posted that to make Jayviks look bad. No one is saying anything on their end despite proof. You just have to laugh.
