I met the Trussell Trust in Parliament today. They gave me their figures for my seat. All the food banks do outstanding work. For me progress in our society will be when they are no longer needed. Thank-you @TrussellUK

Millions still face hunger as hardship drags on. 📦 2.6 MILLION emergency food parcels were provided across the UK in 2025 👶 912,216 of these were for households with children 📈 That’s still 45% higher than pre-pandemic levels Inflation is easing, but hardship isn’t. This isn’t right - and it doesn’t have to be this way.
