Nothing like coming back home to @CBCHighSchool. 💜⚡🏭 Huge congratulations to the students, faculty, and staff at CBC on raising over $424,000 through the car raffle this year - an unbelievable effort that continues to make a real impact on the school and its future! Getting to be back at CBC means a lot to us. This is where it all started. We graduated in ’14 and ’15 (won a state championship together in 2014), and more importantly - built relationships that truly turned into brothers for life - proving it’s not just a slogan. A lot of the team members in DaGuys we met through CBC and it’s the foundation of everything we do. We’re especially grateful for our dad, John Bommarito (@BommaritoAuto), who has always led by example and taught us the importance of giving back when you’re in a position to do so. The generosity behind donating two cars to support the school speaks volumes - and it doesn’t go unappreciated. We had an absolute blast being back on campus. The energy from the students was unreal - and the Teachers vs. DaGuys game was one for the books 😂 We might be a little older now… but we still got it and we’re still 1-0. Thank you, @SaintLouisMBB. As a group of St. Louis kids, we just want to say thank you for what you’ve done for this city! Growing up without an NBA team to call our own, SLU basketball was always something we could rally behind. We grew up cheering for Billiken greats like @jjett5, and so many others who helped build this program into what it is today. This team brought the city back to life when St. Louis sports needed it most. You gave people something to believe in again. You gave this city energy, pride, and a team it could truly stand behind. To the seniors - thank you for coming to St. Louis, believing in the vision, and helping turn it into something real for this city. Coach @JoshSchertzSLU, thank you for your leadership, your vision, and the way you’ve helped elevate this program. And @Robbie_Avila30 - thank you. Not just for the way you played, but for the way you carried yourself. You’ve been just as great to us off the court as you were on it. You never once complained about our goofy promos, random scripts, or anything we threw your way. You showed up to everything with positivity, leadership, and the kind of attitude that makes people want to be around you.
