@penkalaa1 @stats_feed Then it’s pretty much the same. Given the wages in Germany are 2.5x higher compared to Croatia. And I’d say rents in Split are more in a 800-1000€ range nowadays. Couple of one-bedroom apartments in my building are renting out for 900€. Btw, zašto ne pišemo na hrvatskom? 😂

@DanielVargaaaa @stats_feed These regulations in the West only help landlords, I was in Germany, they are not obliged to put furniture, a kitchen, lights or even electrical outlets in the apartment they are renting.

@penkalaa1 @stats_feed That’s right. But these young people living with their parents fall within this 91% category. There’s no regulated home-renting market. And of top of that, more than 25% of properties are empty.

Germany has the lowest homeownership rate in the EU, with only about 47%, no wonder young Germans leave rented apartments earlier
