Dove deep into how @DataFast_ tracks website data — it’s all in a compact 4KB JS script! - It sets a unique visitor and session IDs with cookies - Filters the bots - The script reads window.location.href for the current page URL and document.referrer for the URL of the previous page the visitor came from. - Captures the visitors screen size - Parses URL query parameters to extract marketing click IDs - tracks pageviews, scroll, clicks - Detects payments (Stripe, LemonSqueezy) And then sends all the data securely in real time I love how transparent it is and on top of that a really nice UI to wrap it all @marclou

I cancelled Plausible and am moving all my analytics to Datafast! @marclou did a great job with the app It kinda pains me to say that because I wanted to make a marketer-first analytics app after I sold Talknotes 🥲 But instead of just *thinking* about making an analytics app like I did, Marc actually shipped it And I have to admit, Datafast does the job well, and is getting better every day, so, good job!

who would have thought that @DataFast_ ist actually usefull ... ... I guess sometime you just have to try out new things @jackfriks you pulled me over to the good side maaan, I really like this way of having an overview of my traffic for all my projects google analytics is a nightmare for this shoutout to @marclou for building a great product

@marclou Marc I LOVE datafa.st! Came from Plausible and can't go back anymore. Also there's basically no need for amplitude / posthog anymore given how good this is and how little effort it is to start attributing revenue to marketing efforts. Well done!!

Datafast by @marclou is great. I'm just sitting here looking at my website visitors browsing my product live on world map. You can feel that it was built with love. And that he is solving his own problem (data tracking). Destined for success! P.S. Yes, this is my secret project's data.

i’ve tried all the popular analytics tools on my projects. GA, plausible, posthog, you name it. @DataFast_ is the best analytics tool on the market right now. just shows the metrics you actually need. the clean, simple dashboard is a huge win. change my mind
