@MegRemSoftball Incorrect that she would be safe just standing in the box. She is no longer a batter, she is a batter-runner and can’t interfere with the defense’s ability to make a play. The box becomes irrelevant

Interesting play. If batter doesn’t move out of the box, there’s no interference. Regardless, I am very confident the batter knows she should have taken off for first and the corners know they have a better read and route to the ball😬
