@RealTolmie I'm still undecided, but I'd argue he's the least bad of all the current party leaders, and the press in this country are absolutely scared rigid of him, as they are with anybody who says rich people should pay a bit more tax.

@9320pod I'm struggling a bit with there being any sort of surprise. It's what people have been saying for months. The only new development is the stand. We've long known he's very likely to leave, small chance he might do one more year, and that it would be Maresca. It's old news.

@themagic_tophat The difference between City and Arsenal fans is that we don't think we're favourites, we don't expect to be in a title race by the time that game comes around, we see it as a likely dead rubber and that we can only win the league if a few things fall our way. We're not arrogant.

@citydebra @RealTolmie It's a tricky one. On the one hand, it feels wrong to speculate. On the other, it hurts a bit seeing him get so regularly bashed by those outside of the club and fanbase. Kid was literally the best player in the country a couple of years ago. We all want him back and firing.

Phil Foden's poor form over the last 18 months is nothing short of staggering. An honest conversation is needed with the player and also the wider fanbase. We cannot continue in this phantom zone against all levels of opponent. His mental state won't be helped with no World Cup.

@9320pod Kovacic was our best player. Clearly the injuries are a massive issue, but he has specific skills that few others have. People will laugh, but I actually thought Reijnders had a good second half. Don't see a City player in there, but could grab the odd key goal in the run-in.

Did any of yesterday's fringe players show enough to feel like they could be relied upon if called upon in the run in? Thinking specifically, Savinho, Phil, Tijanji, Nico G, Kovacic or Marmoush?

@Malachians Phil. You talk about City all day, every day, virtually non-stop, to the point that most people who read your posts think you're unwell.

The reality is, nobody really cares because nobody really takes City’s success seriously. As long as those charges hang over them, this will be the case no matter how angry they get that it shouldn’t.

@warrenmcfc It hasn't, has it? He barely plays now. He had an okay run of a few games, but he will more than likely be off in the summer, and even when Rodri isn't available he doesn't always start. There's no metric by which it's been a successful transfer. None. Silly to suggest otherwise.

@9320pod Absolutely imperative that Pep stays beyond this summer so we can see the maximum development of certain players - Khusanov (well on his way to being our best centre-half), O'Reilly (legitimately a league POTY contender), Doku (an insanely high ceiling).

Khusanov is just 99 minutes away from overtaking Ruben Dias as the most played central defender for City this season. The guy is incredible.
