It’s worth noting that while Ghanaian leaders might pray for Nigeria to get their act together, they usually do so with a bit of a smirk. There is a certain pride in being the smaller, more organized neighbor, even if they know they need the BIG BROTHER to stay upright to keep the whole neighborhood safe. In short, Mahama wasn't just being petty, he was being pragmatic. A stable Nigeria is the best insurance policy for a stable Ghana.
