In these dark times with so much chaos, I'm reminded it's easy to hurt & destroy but real hard to unite & build. "The first to apologize is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to forget is the happiest." from an unknown author. #ProStrongCommunity

Wow laughable the claim that housing prices and rents are down due to govt action on housing. The slow down triggered for a lot of reasons outside of their influence. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🍿

Insulting to loyal Canadians to be called disloyal for not agreeing with a narrative. No population is homogeneous in opinions but that does not mean they are disloyal. 🤦

@elSchtaunko Except that if the extension is not agreed, we enter annual reviews which can then trigger any party to willingly leave because they are motivated to. I will bet you dinner this won't be smooth sailing.

Neurodivergentexpo.ca was a great success for the first one. Amazing collection of therapists, counsellors, activity leaders and peripheral service providers. So many said they wish this existed years ago. Looking forward to next year.

Basic formula, if the govt spends on a deficit budget all the time, taxes have to go up in order to try to service the debt &/or pay it down. For longer than I can remember property tax deferral for seniors was a prime minus & simple interest formula. ✂️ now 😱

Saddened by the loss of life. More disturbed that a person felt a need to kill & hurt so many. Recently a teen committed suicide in Kelowna due to what people did to her. This isn't a gun problem it's a problem with our species that the way out is to kill others or kill oneself

I witnessed the accident that did this. I went to see if everyone was alright. I left my contact info as a witness. There were community leaders around & they didn't come out to see if anyone needed help. Leading is doing, not just talk or action to get political points. 🤦

Apparently the number one weapon to harm women in partner violence are hands. Are my hands going to be confiscated by safety zealots? When are we going to start working on the broken people rather than focusing on fear mongering diversionary narratives? 🤔

Happy New Year everyone! May 2026 be an amazing year for you. I spent the evening meeting and getting to know interesting people and being part of a tradition that spans centuries. We are stronger as people together than as individuals divided.

I reflect on the richness I'm blessed with having friends and family around me. I remember years past being alone in a movie theatre waiting for the season to pass. I still felt richer than those who didn't have a roof over their head. Peace, Merry Christmas & happy holidays 🙏

@thenetworkhub In a talk group someone said the govt tackles problems that aren't really problems because you don't really see it every day. Housing instability, substance abuse and mental illness are real problems that occur every day and yet the poverty industry isn't shut down. 🤔

This is what happens when virtue doesn't think things through. Unintended consequences will affect all. The way forward is co-existence not the path we are on.

So much spin doctoring going around at all levels of govt. So many unintended consequences because ulterior motives don't think things through. Everything looks like lies. You are making conspiracy theorists look great now. Old saying, the truth shall set you free 🤣

@thenetworkhub It's hard to make stuff up unless one has been through that. Pretty much all businesses I know of go through this phase including my own. This moment will make or break their business.

I know what it is like to build a business from nothing in a sea of competition. I also empathize when in the depths of despair, one makes the decision to put pride aside & do everything possible to save the family business. I love donair
