When analyzing biomechanics, the bench press isn’t the best. Compound movements are imperative for strength training. However, the bench press isn’t, or rather, shouldn’t be on the top 5 list. Nevertheless, newbies at the gym get hard ons on Mondays for chest day and seek the bench.
