Our 6th Grade CTE Camp was awesome! 🎉 Students from BES, JMA, and SCIA joined us at the high school for a week full of learning and fun 📚✨. Our high school students had the chance to co-teach and support all the lessons 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 what an amazing experience for everyone! 💡🎨🔧

A couple of #BMS highlights from last week! Shout out to our sound engineers for helping make the Rise 2 It assembly one to remember. In Ms. Robles’s class, students used math in a real way, making pancake mix and adjusting measurements for their families. #BurtonExperience

Meaningful small group writing instruction that focuses on targeted, intentional support that meets students where they are and move them forward as writers ✍️ in Mrs. Riezebos’s kinder class!

I enjoyed my time with the Summit Intermediate ASB students who were very planning some great #BurtonExperience opportunities coming up later in the year. I am always encouraged by the student leaders @BurtonSchools who are making a real difference on campus.

I had a chance to join the Burton Middle School ASB Leadership team meeting last week. It was a great opportunity to see how our students work together to create #BurtonExperiences for their classmates. I also had a chance to talk a little bit about campus life!
