This isn’t a new finding but it’s still cool!
Basically the area that was originally thought to be only selective for recognizing faces: the fusiform face area (FFA) is actually more of an area for expertise! And an example is pokemon! So in young kids that loved pokemon, they saw activity in the FFA in response to faces AND pokemon!
So technically you could have an FFA light up for vtubers if you’re a big enough fan
