Britain is eating halal meat without even knowing it - I'm pushing for a full ban on halal slaughter in Parliament. But without that, we need proper labelling. Transparent, honest, clear. The vast majority of the British people do not want to eat halal meat. Make it clear to the British people that they are participating in halal slaughter, then hopefully ban it. All non-stun slaughter needs to be outlawed, kosher included. As a farmer, that abhorrent level of animal cruelty makes me sick. Millions of animals butchered alive, bleeding to death. Sick. Sick. Sick. It is simply not how we do things in Britain.

Just reflecting on yesterday. What a great away performance. One thing I noticed is we’re a big side as well full of proper blokes. Loved the beers all in the melee. We won’t get bullied which is a great thing in this league. We won’t score many, but we’ll concede less.
