This is the final match timeline of the June 9, 2026, Women's International Friendly between Brazil and the USA.
While the USA won 1–0 off a 63rd-minute own goal by Isabela Chagas, the real story is how the match completely disintegrated into a battlefield during stoppage time.
The physical intensity of the game boiled over in the final minutes, leading to an incredibly rare explosion of cards that went down after the 90th minute:
90'+4' — Bia Zaneratto 🟥 (Second Yellow): Already on a yellow card from earlier in the game, the Brazilian striker got into it with U.S. defender Emily Sonnett, resulting in a second yellow and her subsequent ejection.
90'+9' — Tarciane 🟥 (Straight Red): The defender was shown a straight red card for throwing an elbow at U.S. forward Sophia Wilson during a heated play.
90'+14' — Kerolin & Ludmila 🟥 (Post-Match Straight Reds): Even though the game effectively ended around 90'+12', the drama didn't stop.
Heated confrontations and post-match altercations led to straight red cards for violent conduct being handed to both Kerolin and Ludmila after the final whistle.
To make things even wilder, Brazil's head coach, Arthur Elias, and three of his coaching staff members were also shown red cards and dismissed from the technical area during the second half.
