@retail_mourinho Gonna stick my neck out on this one and call it as I see it. There's a 50% chance it might test $86 again in the relatively near future.

🚨🚨 Blue Origin - FCC Docket SAT-LOA-20260310-00118 Blue Origin has filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission seeking authority to launch and operate a large satellite constellation known as Project Sunrise. This system is designed to host orbital data centers to support the increasing demand for artificial intelligence and cloud computing. By placing compute infrastructure in space, Blue Origin aims to provide a sustainable alternative to terrestrial data centers that face physical scaling limits. The proposed constellation includes up to 51,600 satellites operating in sun-synchronous orbits at altitudes ranging from 500 to 1,800 kilometers. To manage data traffic, the system will primarily use optical links and mesh backhaul networks, supplemented by Ka-band spectrum for telemetry, tracking, and command operations. The spacecraft will utilize multiple antenna variations to maintain efficient coverage across various orbital planes. In its filing, Blue Origin requests several regulatory waivers, including exemptions from standard processing round procedures and certain milestone or bond requirements. The company asserts that the project will enhance global compute accessibility and ensure efficient spectrum use. Approval would allow Blue Origin to expand its space infrastructure capabilities to include high-capacity orbital data processing. 🔗 fccalerts.com/api/pdf/658601…

Megaconstellations 🌍📡🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️
Update on @blueorigin's TeraWave: eight weeks post announcement still no sign of an @ITU filing for this 5,408 satellite strong megaconstellation: itu.int/ITU-R/space/as…
Megaconstellations 🌍📡🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️🛰️@Megaconstellati

My take on @blueorigin TeraWave: The concept looks technically and commercially borderline. Q/V-band phased arrays don't scale cheaply (tolerances, calibration, yield, OTA test time). Q/V rain fade on a flat panel will be brutal, E-band gateways add another weather-correlated choke point, and optical space-to-ground is cloud-limited, point-to-point and you can only put so many LCTs on a sat. All of this runs at the technical edge, demands massive R&D and ops complexity - yet is meant to be amortized over ~100k enterprise users. That math is as aggressive as the physics. Net: big promises, ugly availability and unit-economics. Is TeraWave about connectivity or about undercutting @SpaceX's IPO story and steering @AmazonLeo toward Blue Origin?

$ASTS: 🚨BELL CANADA AND IOT ASSET TRACKING FIRM BEWHERE SUCCESSFULLY TEST DEVICES ON AST SPACEMOBILE DIRECT-TO-DEVICE SATELLITE NETWORK October 28, 2025 8:00 AM EDT Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 28, 2025) - BeWhere Holdings Inc. (TSXV: BEW) (OTCQB: BEWFF), a leader in low-power 5G IoT asset tracking, today announced a significant achievement: the successful connection of a BeWhere IoT tracking device in Canada on AST SpaceMobile's (NASDAQ: ASTS) revolutionary direct-to-device satellite network. The test, conducted in New Brunswick Canada, marks a pivotal moment for global connectivity. A standard, off-the-shelf BeWhere LTE IoT tracking device successfully connected to and transmitted location and sensor data directly through an AST SpaceMobile BlueBird satellite, the largest commercial phase-array ever deployed in low Earth orbit. The signal was then seamlessly routed through Bell's terrestrial network, demonstrating the capability to provide ubiquitous, two-way connectivity for assets anywhere on the planet. This breakthrough eliminates the need for specialized, expensive satellite terminals, allowing standard, low-power IoT devices to connect directly to a satellite network. This capability is poised to unlock unprecedented value for industries operating in remote environments, including logistics, supply chain, agriculture, and natural resource management. "This is a game-changer for asset tracking and monitoring," said Owen Moore, CEO of BeWhere Holdings. "For years, a challenge has been the 'connectivity gap'—those vast areas where terrestrial networks don't reach. Our existing and future customers will have true global visibility of their assets without any additional hardware. This successful test with our partners AST SpaceMobile and Bell demonstrates our vision for a seamlessly connected world." AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network designed to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices. "Connecting a commercial IoT device is yet another step toward realizing our mission — eliminating connectivity gaps across the globe," said Chris Ivory, Chief Commercial Officer of AST SpaceMobile. "This demonstration, in partnership with technology leaders like BeWhere and Bell, proves the versatility and power of our network capabilities — delivering broadband satellite connectivity for critical mobile voice, video and IoT data, enabling seamless, two-way connectivity for people and assets anywhere. The test validates the technical collaboration between the three companies. Bell, a strategic partner of AST SpaceMobile and BeWhere, is committed to extending its network coverage from coast to coast to coast. "Delivering the best networks is a strategic priority for Bell," said Costa Pantazopoulos, VP Product, Bell. "This successful IoT connection is a critical step in enabling a new era of industrial innovation. Space-based cellular broadband opens possibilities for businesses operating in the most geographically challenging regions of the country — including remote environmental monitoring, fleet/transportation tracking, and public safety. Doing so with off-the-shelf IoT devices is a truly transformative technology for Canada." About BeWhere BeWhere (TSXV: BEW) (OTCQB: BEWFF) specializes in low-power 5G IoT wide-area tracking technology, creating remote monitoring solutions that address cost, power, and environmental challenges. In just 6 years, the company has experienced rapid growth, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies, top resellers and installers to deploy hundreds of thousands of trackers across numerous sectors, including transportation, construction, logistics, utilities, health, and government. BeWhere's tracking solutions are designed to be both cost-effective and simple to implement, significantly expanding the scope of assets that can be connected. (i) commercialization of solid state batteries is exactly what they need to rapidly boost sales for electric vehicle vehicles (ii) yeah I hear you, they aren’t like ASTS insiders. However, it is worth noting that the company was founded in 2010, so I’m not that surprised that there is insider selling to take some profits because after all it is called stock based compensation for a reason. Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer @ironmantimholme still holds most of his position and always excites me with how he talks about $QS in interviews and panels

@Defiantclient2 I'm long and thus biased, but I really think so too -- my only two worries (i) VW and Honda specifically and car manufacturers generally seem to be struggling, perhaps part of the reason for broadening segment focus rn, and (ii) steady stream of insider selling across mgmt/BoD

First it was aero engines repurposed for data centers. WSJ now reporting that domestic battery capacity for EVs, including of Ford/GM, is also being repurposed for data centers with slowing EV sales. - LG producing battery cells for Tesla instead of EV batteries for GM - Ford investing $2B to repurpose EV manufacturing in Kentucky; Ford CEO - energy storage has a “short payback period” and that it can be used to “de-risk the core automotive business” - Samsung $1B deal with undisclosed company to use its Stellantis JV factory in Indiana - AESC retooling a factory in TN that made batteries for the Nissan Leaf - Repurposing requires change in chemistry from NMC for EVs to LFP for grid applications; change of shape more tricky - Volta Foundation annual report last month also called out 190 GWh of mfg capacity reallocated to LFP - Qualifying for tax credits not so straightforward given supply chain for materials is all from China As @TheStalwart said: "That which *can* be repurposed to serve the AI supply chain *will* be repurposed to serve the AI supply chain."
