@insiliconot @thundarcock @jimtalbot Quality coffee prepared properly is fuckin delicious. Most shit you get elsewhere taste like asshole. I fresh grind, and use French press. I know French are gay, but press is straight.
English

@thundarcock @jimtalbot U don't like the taste, u like the effect associated with it.
Nobody in right mind asides addicts would say it taste good.
Not a single child or person that didn't drank coffee before would say it taste good.

🔮 LayerZero airdrop claim is live now!
You have to pay $0.1 for each $ZRO that you claim 😆 [A forced donation that they call "Proof-of-Donation"]
🔗 Link: layerzero.foundation
For my 188 $ZRO allocation, I have to pay 18.8$ in USDC, USDT, or ETH.

English

Today LayerZero is introducing a new claiming mechanism called Proof-of-Donation, which will result in ~$18.5 million donated to @ProtocolGuild, a collective funding mechanism for Ethereum developers.
Protocol Guild and Ethereum's core developers have been fundamental to LayerZero's growth, driving the proliferation of the EVM, Ethereum's L2-centric roadmap, and the broader crypto ecosystem. By donating to Protocol Guild, eligible recipients show long-term alignment with the LayerZero protocol and a commitment to the future of crypto.
To claim ZRO, users must donate $0.10 in USDC, USDT, or native ETH per ZRO. This small donation goes directly to the Protocol Guild. The LayerZero Foundation is matching all donations up to $10 million.
For details on claim information and Proof-of-Donation, read here:

It's funny. Many people hope and believe that $zk and projects on @zksync will go to zero. But it won't happen boys. This will be the most hated rally. And I'll love it.
Fudded projects tend to do well 😏
Let's see guys. Almost there. 🫡

@TrustlessState @zksync @bankless Good drop. Rewarded real users. Best so far I think
Some legit users who didnt do alot of different actions got boned.
Don't cave to those bitching. They seem mostly upset cuz they farmed and it didnt work out.
Get rid of obvious airdrop farms identified by other projects.
English

Basically, the way the zksync team found to fight sybils was by heavily prioritizing assets and LP.
More Era on-chain liquidity+More time being a LP = larger allocation.
Large bot farms are, on average, not whales, and they transact cyclically with not-so-large capital amounts.
Top allocation is stated as 100K in the docs, but that's not true (at least with current allocations). Wallet 0x521aacb43d89e1b8ffd64d9ef76b0a1074dedaf8 is eligible for 160,495 tokens, so there's an inconsistency there. There are 155 users (out of 690K) with more than 100K $ZK.
The "Usage-based Allocation" by points system is clever and similar to Arbitrum (which is generally regarded as a success) - the complaints I'm reading are regarding the barrier to the capital amount.
Every address that qualified for at least one point was assigned an amount of $ZK tokens based on its liquidity bridged to ZKsync Era. If less than 450 tokens, then not eligible. This is what excluded shrimps and the cornerstone of people not being eligible.
Also, using just Era for the liquidity considerations probably also excluded many OG users that transacted in Lite back then. They leaned toward Era in favour of Lite.
Of cour,se multipliers and boosts (see steps 2 and 3 of the blog post) also impacted allocation, but the base calc was done taking liquidity as the base layer.
I doubt any changes will be made at this point. Remember the Arbitrum controversy with AIP-1?
As always, and same as with every airdrop launch, most people are unhappy.
