@DawnHosmer7 My husband's son was 12 when we got married and I wrote vows to him. I didn't tell my husband...it was a beautiful surprise and actually the part that choked me up!

@DrStepMom My husband and I both had children from previous marriages who were 2, 3 and 5 at our wedding. We each wrote and read vows to each of them as well knowing our commitment was to them, not just each other.
