youtu.be/zgTzMDQCkAs Antennapalooza's on again this year! We were eager to attend again, XSS even presenting! But will the weather hold out? Spoiler - it did not. Much "fun" ensued in the mud, and I attempted this year's project - building a 10m tape measure yagi...

youtu.be/ucahkegPWXA Our next stop is Coober Pedy, famous for opal mining. Dinner at a 360 degree theatre, stay in an underground motel, then visit a former opal mine, (re)discovered recently. Then we head out into the opal fields to get extremely close to a wind turbine.

youtu.be/eD7OTedeYLk While getting a wheel alignment, we check out Alice Springs - starting with the Reptile Centre. Then a little more radio related - the choice is obvious - School Of The Air, then the RFDS museum - but is Alf Traeger's legacy remembered?

youtu.be/kyiuSQJJ5Fo Driving the long journey from Halls Creek to Alice Springs. Planning to do this via the Tanami Track, we go the long way due to poor road conditions, making the most of the NT's 130km/h speed limit... which we soon discover has a bit of a downside.

Next part of our adventure awaits: youtu.be/LLxdwzXNRGQ Unknown to most until 1983, and only a National Park in 1987. The Bungle Bungle range features massive rock chasms, slot canyons with high walls, and spectacular views from lookouts, this place is well worth a visit.

The last part of our CSR adventure is up - but it's not the end! youtu.be/vRYo8SkdwLI We find out who perhaps shouldn't have "bought a jeep", check out the who's who on the side of Godfrey Tank. Diverting into the Paruku IPA, we reach Halls Creek. But it's the wrong one!

youtu.be/axwS5etIfZo Leaving Durba Springs, the 4WD'ing gets much more difficult as we take the detour into the Diebil Hills. Ttrack closure, heavy rainfall resulted in it being very overgrown. Camped at Lake Disappointment, crossed Savory Creek, ending up at Georgia Bore.

youtu.be/BSfhvfJYzVc It is a testament to the sheer amount of planning and preparation involved in this journey that we are only now beginning the trip itself in the third video of the series... We turn onto the CSR track to begin the adventure itself, finishing at Well 6.

youtu.be/iVSuLIH5kRc We take a trip to Byfield National Park and head out to Stockyard Point, drive down Nine Mile Beach, see Five Rocks, and on the way, tackle Big Sandy. While keeping an eye on Water Park Creek… if it floods, we're not getting out of there any time soon!
