Fiat currency is already kind of based on labor. Every dollar is like a share and a company. The company shouldn't be able to print and hand out more shares at will. Officially tying it to labor forces the elite to take care of the workers, because the guy drilling for oil or building buildings is increasing the value of the dollar. If that guy has five kids, one a baker, one an arborist, one a farmer, one a bricklayer, the next a mother, those kids will also be productive and increase the value of the dollar. This also allows the government to do a little inflation, which it craves, by speculating on the increase in productivity over the next generation. For example, if you started a farm and planted 10,000 trees, The value of the dollar would increase in proportion as the trees grow. It genuinely might be the only way to get people to want to invest back into our environment. The deeper our soil, the deeper the dollar.
