Guys two middle school-aged boys knocked on our door today and asked if they could do any jobs for us for a couple euros. I totally made up some job so I could say yes. But I was so stoked that neighborhood boys are still out there hustling.

I just had a revelation! There’s a chalk-dusted cord thing that contractors use. You run it the length of the thing you measure, then snap it against it, and it immediately makes a chalk line to cut along. I need that to make chalk lines on fabric.

This time I’d like to come on here and shout into the void that I LOVE sewing. Like, I think it’s *the* thing I’m good at. It’s the thing I look at and understand, intuit. It’s not like I make couture pieces but I’m not scared of them. It excites me, interests me.

We just scored these for free! Decided to commit to having the VHS setup for our children one day.
So many childhood bangers (like Swan Princess!!!). And they’re in Dutch (obvs) so it’ll be fun to rewatch them in another language.

Been a manual pour-over girl for over a decade. Always want more than a cup but lukewarm coffee is gross to me. Hard to keep a glass carafe hot.
