Sources: North Carolina intends to hire longtime NBA coach Michael Malone as the school’s next basketball coach. He’s an NBA Championship coach with the Denver Nuggets from the 2022-23 season and has won 510 games as an NBA head coach.

Hubert Davis showed up, ruined Coach K’s retirement and then dipped. You gotta respect it.

Played under Dean, coached under Roy, Walter Davis' nephew, ACC CoY, led his teams to an ACC regular season title, No. 1 seed, natty game appearance, and retired Coach K (x2) in the process. Any vitriol from fans towards Hubert Davis will fade fast. A true #UNC guy.
