A war machine at full throttle. The numbers break down like this: C-17 cargo planes made 3,399 flights alone. KC-135 refuelers ran 2,703 sorties. Combined, these aircraft moved nearly 300,000 metric tons of supplies and ordnance into the region. Over 1,600 transatlantic crossings in two months. That's 26 flights a day, every single day, just crossing the Atlantic to feed this operation. March 14-21 was the peak: 1,262 flights in seven days, averaging 180 per day. The kicker: this data is only what shows up on public radar. B-52s, F-15s, F-22s, they turn off their transponders. So the actual sortie count is much higher. This is just the logistics shadow.
