For those who want it simplified: > Oil prices are high, Trump doesn’t like this at all — he needs a solution > By leaving OPEC, the UAE can produce and export much more oil, as it is no longer bound by quotas > This increases the circulating supply > More supply lowers the prices of oil globally, at least temporarily > Lowering the price of oil is bad for countries like Saudi Arabia that aren’t able to offset it by increasing production, so they get annoyed In short, this is Trump’s plan to manage the oil price crisis he created as a result of the Strait of Hormuz being closed.

NEW: 🇮🇷🇮🇳 The Indian-flagged oil tanker ‘SANMAR HERALD’, which was fired upon by Iranian gunboats last Sunday, fell victim to a crypto scam Reportedly, the ship was contacted by an Indian man claiming to represent the IRGC Navy. The captain then transfered a large amount of money in USDT, and was ‘granted a right of passage’. When the vessel arrived in the Strait of Hormuz, it got fired upon by the actual IRGC Navy, who had not issued any permission for the ship to pass.

Here's the Iranian delegates to the talks. Never during the JCPOA did I see such a large & senior Iranian delegation. And Qalibaf may meet directly w/ Vance(!) Before, the Iranians refused such meetings. They agree now because they see themselves in a far stronger position.

@laurnorman Allegedly being prepared yes. But you must understand that tons of Iranian ‘officials’ truly speak without knowing the inner workings. Many of them find out on social media just like we do, especially low level staff who run these accounts. Their statements not to be taken.

Not only was Pezeshkian's interview with Carlson a stab in the back of the Iranian people, as outlined by Dr. Sabeti, but it was also perceived as shockingly subpar by Iran's many supporters abroad. In fact, even many Americans were surprised at the low quality of the responses.
