Well. At the close of another school year, and still thinking about new projects to change what I'm able to offer my students. Current plans include "intro to baroque music" workshops now that my harpsichord has been rebuilt.

A happy duo lesson with my middle school dudes who read through Rockin' Around the Xmas Tree, Chestnuts, Frosty, and Holly Jolly Xmas today. In September, sight-reading anything would have been impossible. Worked so hard. Come so far. YAY!!!

hi folks, it's been a long minute since I was here. new adventures- left one job/retired from a longtime ensemble, expanded my home studio, changing my thoughts about what music lessons are really like. making plans for a non-profit with kids & instruments. how are y'all?

F horn folk: what if my very cool vintage band arrangements have Eb horn parts? Do I have to transpose for the modern horn player?
