@LoganMacnair I saw it as a sort of a winkwink Deus Ex Machina. It’s one that literally blames God

@EbertHeavy Makes thematic sense in the context of the opening scenes re: chance/coincidence, and the tension between all the interwoven stories was clearly building toward some kind of biblical climax/release, but still a bit jarring with how the frogs were used to reach that ending I think
