@alicekeeler So sorry to hear this. I hope you are ok. You need to look after yourself too. Managing big feelings is hard. Encourage him to talk about it, would be my advice and respect that they don’t want to talk about it all the time, so when they do, pause and listen?

My mom died this morning. Made the mistake thinking my 12 year old would be okay at school. Predictably he had an emotional outburst and got suspended. Any tips for how to help him with some strategies?
