As per my calculations, even after adding up every government contract, loan, subsidy, tax credit, and incentive ever received by Tesla and SpaceX, the total comes to roughly $38 billion. Today, Tesla and SpaceX are worth more than $3.6 trillion combined. That means all government support accounts for only about 1% of their current value. Legacy media’s claim that Elon Musk built his companies on government money is complete BS. Tesla and SpaceX have created trillions of dollars in value, hundreds of thousands of jobs, and are helping advance humanity. Elon helped make America the leader in EVs, reusable rockets, and satellite internet.
