@nixiebishop In my editing experience, 70K seems to be the sweet spot.

YA Magical Realism seems to be in the 60,000 - 80,000 word range for debut/querying writers. Does this seem right? I am aiming for 70k (currently at 30k on my #WIP). Not sure if I should be trying to shed or add to that word count goal. #WritingCommunity #amdrafting #writers
