Reading some brain teasers from a 1955 book (reprinted, not in the original book). “What number, when subtracted from six and a half of the number itself, leaves half of the number halved?” Answer given: 8. Anyone understand this? Because I don’t. 🤨

Ma’Khia Bryant. When I #SayHerName, I say part of my own. But she was killed at 15 (or 16, I’ve seen both) and I was not. And the chances that I would be were so much smaller than for her, because she was Black and I am not. We have so, so much work still to do.

It doesn’t fix the problems. But it is some small measure of justice.

#Boulder is my hometown, though I haven’t lived there in years. That King Soopers is close to my high school and we used to go there (and to the shopping center) during free periods or after school. This one’s personal. Really sad. And angry that This Just Keeps Happening.
