Am I the only one who finds it odd that we have a Congressman warning us that the stuff in the Epstein files is sick and disturbing... Yet our AG claims that there was no prosecutable crimes in there other than what they got Maxwell and Epstein on. He saw and or was briefed on some or all of the unredacted version of that file... So why is it that those that perpetrated the crimes are not being rounded up? Who owns our government at this point with this blackmail info? Don't know. The article says that they have not released any details on the shooter as of yet so we don't know yet. But I guess more to your point... It's apparent he got a gun. So my question would be in response to what you're trying to queue up... If he got it illegally how will increasing gun control even more stop criminals from getting guns? The law of low hanging fruit would make me believe a big difference in violent crimes like this could be reduced by eliminating things like catch and release or cashless bail... OH, and not giving criminals a walk on crimes through probation sentences... Especially over and over again.

You also have no idea what your talking about either... That would be an illegal gun then. To purchase a gun in NJ you need a NJ firearms license. To move into NJ with your guns you need to get a NJ firearms license. That means you can't legally bring your guns to NJ without also going through the process... In your example of TX... You still need full background checks and be 18+ for long rifles or 21+ for handguns. Prohibited persons (cannot buy or possess any firearm in TX): Felony convictions Domestic violence misdemeanors Certain mental health adjudications Fugitives, illegal aliens, etc. Along with any additional federal restrictions that may apply.

Just to get a license... background checks 2 personal references that need to be interviewed You must sign over your HIPPA rights so that your medical info can be reviewed for any mental instability. Then in the county that you are applying for your license from the chief of police has the right to also do a personal interview and reject it for any reason and doesn't really need to state why. That's just to get the license before you can go to a store and more background checks are run... So if by they only need an ID... Then I guess you are right... And ID they get after a lot of paperwork, interviews, and time dedicated to just getting the license.

NJ has some incredibly strict gun control laws. How's that working out for ya? Studies show that the states/cities with the strictest gun control laws are also where the most gun violence happens. Have you thought that perhaps it's not a gun issue but an issue with the failure to persecute violent crimes?

what kind of gaslighting is that to call criticism of a government as hatred towards a group of people. Not only is that false that intellectually void of any sense. For now freedom of speech is not illegal and the ability to criticize a gov. is foundational to that right.
