@winsletts Reason: There are companies, universities + others that rely on the ability to create instances. Service termination is Jan 27, 2025. Existing customers can use the service as is until then. As for new customers: they are fully informed on the signup page and when logged in.

ElephantSQL already plans a hardcore shutdown. Crazy they are even letting people sign up and create new databases.
