@RooK_OSRS @Zaalkal @sw3buzz Well they share the heavy ranged weapon type so we compare them to monsters that have a crossbow weakness like leviathan and apparently the new crossbows beat out zcb camping by quite a bit according to kirby's calcs

@Zaalkal @EmadRazor @sw3buzz I see a lot of people comparing these to other cbows, these are not competing with ACB/ZCB or even dragon crossbow. They are low accuracy, high fire rate - they are a blowpipe upgrade and intended for low def scenarios.

Jagex will need a 3 slot quiver after they introduce this item. Places you use ZCB/TBOW/BP now have an extra ammo you need to bring along (Doom, TOA, maybe TOB, Tbow/ZCB Nex). Jagex thought through the design for these rewards pretty well but not the practicality.

@RooK_OSRS @sw3buzz molgoat kirby calced it and onyx's had like a 1.3% chance to proc using these so idk if its worth the cost

@sw3buzz Gnomonkey said in his video it is likely better than the equivalent dragon bolt since this is 2.5x faster and only procs 50% less. Onyx will be disgustingly good but also crazy expensive to use. 8k per bolt just based on alch value...

there isnt one boss in this game you need to be doing all that

@MJ23OSRS the only gripe i have with the shield is it potentially power creeps avernic and thats another tob unique getting shafted

initial thoughts - elemental fragments - no thanks. replace with turmoil or overload recipe hybrid robes - no thanks. bis armor set or scrap shield is kinda sick ascensions are cool crush mega looks sick solid proposal.

Ngl that hybrid armor looks like dead on arrival... Please don't make another justiciar mistake and just add bis stuff to raids...
