Last December my amazing mom suddenly fell ill and passed on January 25th. My heart still breaks every single day. What is making this grief almost unbearable is my dad starting to date someone new within a month of losing her. My parents had a beautiful whirlwind love story. Engaged in under 60 days and deeply devoted for over 30 years. The night after mom died he told me he could not imagine being with anyone else. Yet weeks later he was on dating apps. Now only 3 months later he is already traveling staying in hotels and meeting her family. When I tried talking to him he said this is what your mom wants. He barely even talks to us about mom anymore. I know people grieve differently but this speed feels so disrespectful to the life they built. Am I wrong for feeling this way? How have others handled it when a surviving parent moves on this fast?

A lot of times people take decisions base on fancy things, that kind of decision doesn't last when situation changes. But when you make decisions base on laws of life even when situation changes. You will still stick to your decisions. What grantee good outcome is the laws upon which decisions are made not the feeling you have around it. So you shouldn't make decisions base on emotions. You should live life base on laws. If you understand laws thats guide life is anchored on universal concepts even when you're not feeling good about it, you will always do what is right not what you feel because the law will determine the outcome not your feelings.
