The reason ChibiReviews isn't getting a full throated apology is because he isn't ready to apologise for anything himself. In a situation that he instigated and spent days escalating to the point of the most horrifying malicious rumours.
Doesn't seem to weigh on him at all.

I was ready to genuinely take this to the ground because of the idea that “why should i ever feel bad being rude to someone who’s a piece of shit”. After some reflection, the thought occurred to me, “do i really want to go as low as him though?” and the answer was no. I said what I said because I personally think there is no scenario that a friend group chooses the side of a fiancé that cheats. I can’t even fathom friends siding with a cheater. However, would I have brought it up if I knew he was suicidal because of it? no. I admitted it in the previous tweets so why didn’t I apologize? “because he’s this and that and blah” but I thought about it and that kinda ideology is quite harmful. I knew it was wrong and I admitted that twice but I didn’t apologize So after reflection, I am sorry. I’m sorry for bringing up a memory that made someone suicidal. It was a low blow even if I didn’t know regardless of whether he was intentionally being a piece of shit. I don’t want to stoop to his level. I rather be better and learn from my mistakes 🧡

Let's be honest here Deme is genuinely such a sweet and amazing person.
Even after everything that’s been thrown at her the smears, the edited clips, the nonstop harassment from a whole cult she still took the time to reflect and apologize because she didn’t want to stoop to that level. She didn’t have to do that. A lot of people in her position wouldn’t have.
She cares deeply about her community. She made it clear that her apology wasn’t just for herself, but so her viewers and supporters could move on too. That kind of thoughtfulness says a lot about who she is as a person.
She’s been open about her own struggles while still showing up for the people who support her. She sets boundaries, stands up for herself when needed, and still tries to be better. That combination of strength and kindness is rare.
Deme is one of the good ones. We’re lucky to have her in this space. Plus she is just trying to enjoy her trip. Truly, I feel bad for all this toxic rhetoric thrown her way.
