Mi hijo tiene 22 años y no quiere estudiar ni trabajar. Vive en casa, duerme todo el día y exige como si el mundo le debiera algo. Ayer le dije que se fuera. @libriscent When people act weird around me, I do this: 1. Lower my voice by 20% 2. Ask 1 question instead of making 3 statements 3. Smile slightly, then disengage Tension disappears. Control returns. People still wonder why they like me despite the intimidation. It's funny.

Having a naturally intimidating aura is so exhausting. People will go to the wildest extremes to humble you or compete with you. Meanwhile, I'm literally just trying to exist

As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.
