It wasn't easy, but I managed to settle for a MacBook I felt comfortable with without spending more than I initially was willing to spend.
Decided to go with the MacBook Air M5 13", 24GB/1TB.
Larger screen was tempting but my wife always says size doesn't matter.

I'm seriously considering buying a new MacBook. I just bought my M3 Air in Dec 2025 but I made the mistake of buying the 256gb version. While my previous MacBook didn't exceed this in 7 years, for some reason I now hit this regularly having to remove derived data and stuff...

@remi_rousselet Yea, recently I had a project on the web which isn't something I do. Tried using Flutter Web.. just wasn't what I was looking for. I had to use the traditional html, javascript.

As a Flutter lover, Flutter Web _is_ bad.
It's cool that it is possible. But I'm not sure I'd use it legitimately for a professional project.
Flutter is great for lots of stuff. Just not web.

Then one morning he woke up to something strange.
