How can you be a member of UEFA when you’re literally the owner/president of a big club in Europe that competes at the highest level? Not surprised when Perez and Nasser al-khelaïfi met with UEFA president several weeks ago!

Flick inherited a disastrous backline, a literal laughing, got ZERO defensive reinforcements bar Cancelo on loan for 6 months, and he’s delivered 5 titles in two seasons. Gerard Martin didn’t even look good enough to be a squad player. It seemed like Eric’s career at the highest level was done. And Cancelo was chilling in Saudi Arabia. This is what he’s maximised, this is the context. Who else could do this? I’d bet no one. And if you’re being realistic, you would too. One of the best rebuild jobs I’ve ever seen, and he did it in no time, with no financial backing - just La Masia and a lot of faith.
